Take the printer
off the pass.

01 — The shift

Two ways to run a Friday night.

On paper

  • The printer jams at 7:40 and the queue doesn't stop for it.

  • A docket comes off the rail and nobody knows it's gone.

  • No way to tell if that burger's been up four minutes or fourteen.

  • A re-print means someone walks back to the point of sale.

  • The spike is your only order history, and it's binned at close.

Rolls · ribbons · service calls

On Bump-it

  • The order is on screen the instant it's rung up. Nothing to print.

  • Every docket carries its own timer — green, then amber, then red.

  • Bump the whole item in one tap. Five flat whites clear in one motion.

  • Park a table on hold. It comes back to position one with a fresh timer.

  • Order History keeps past, current and upcoming — re-print from the screen.

02 — What it gives back

Minutes on the floor, not in front of a printer.

No projections, no invented savings. Four things the screen does that paper can't.

  • 8:00 / 15:00

    Recommended kitchen alerts

Amber at eight minutes, red at fifteen. The screen flags what's late before anyone has to ask.

  • 1 tap

    Bump All

A tick sits beside each product. Tap it and every unit goes — five flat whites in one motion, not five taps.

  • 240

    Screens on one account

Each subscription is a bump screen and a pass screen. Run 1, or run 20 — the same product scales.

  • 0 rolls

    Consumables

No paper, no ribbons, no printer service call at seven on a Saturday night.

03 — The timer

The colour does the thinking.

Every docket starts green and ages on its own clock. You set the two thresholds per screen, so the coffee machine and the kitchen keep their own standards.

  • 0:00

    On time

Lands green. In the queue, nothing to worry about.

  • 8:04

    Watch it

Turns amber at your first alert. Someone picks it up.

  • 15:12

    Now

Red at your second alert. Visible from the other end of the line.

04 — The docket

Readable from the other side of the kitchen.

  1. 1
    Order type

Dine In yellow, Pickup orange, Takeaway blue. You read the banner before you read a word.

  2. 2
    Position and item count

Where it sits in the queue, and how many units are on it.

  3. 3
    Order note

The table, the pick-up name, or the order number straight off your point of sale.

  4. 4
    Running timer

Counts from the moment it landed and changes colour on your thresholds.

  5. 5
    Modifiers

Called out in orange under the product, grouped by category or by course.

  6. 6
    Bump, hold, undo

Tap or swipe to clear. Hold parks it. Undo brings it back if it went early.

05 — Who runs it

Over 1,500 businesses, and not one of them the same.

Ten years of development against real production areas — a two-person coffee window and a hatted dining room need different things from the same screen.

06 — Compatibility

Will it work with my point of sale?

Pick what you run. You'll get a straight answer, not a contact form.

07 — Getting started

Set yourself up in one sitting.

You create the account and you own it. Five steps, no installer, no site visit.

  1. 01

    Create your account

Your venue, your details, and which point of sale you run.

  2. 02

    Link your point of sale

Sign in, approve access, and let your products sync down.

  3. 03

    Add your screens

Walk up to the tablet and add it there. Set what that screen can do.

  4. 04

    Build a filter

Choose the products, registers and order types that screen should see.

  5. 05

    Go

Press Go to bump screen. That's service.

Worth knowing

Screens are added on the device itself — walk up to the tablet on the wall and add it from there, so you never accidentally register the office laptop.

Bring your point of sale. We'll do the rest.

Fifteen minutes on a Zoom and you'll know whether this belongs in your kitchen. If it doesn't, we'll tell you.
